Applications are encouraged from artists working with challenging forms and concepts; and artists exploring different ways of engaging with audiences. Proposals should be developmental in the context of the artist’s work/medium and can include research, mentoring and education development at post graduate level.
The maximum amount of any award is €3,000.
In this application form, there is an option to answer some questions either in text or by video. These questions ask for: a short summary of your proposal; a full description of the project or proposal, and how the award will impact on your development as an artist.

The Conditions:
These awards will not fund third level undergraduate studies.
If your proposal relates to further studies, a residency or mentoring, you must provide a letter confirming your acceptance.
Funding by South Dublin County Council must be acknowledged on any publicity material relating to the activity supported by the scheme. Logos are available from South Dublin County Council Arts Office.
Successful applicants will be asked to by provide a short, written report on completion of the project. Copies of promotional material must also be submitted to the Arts Office.
Projects must be completed before March 2025.
