Are you are songwriter looking to develop your craft, collaborate with other musicians and bring you music to the next level?
Red Line Book Festival is inviting applications for a 5-week songwriting programme led by our Songwriter in Residence during September and October. Through a series of hands-on sessions, participants will explore the songwriting process and develop new material in a supportive and creative environment.
The programme will culminate in a live showcase as part of the Red Line Book Festival, taking place from October 12 - 18th, giving participants the opportunity to perform their work for an audience. Participants will also have the exciting opportunity to record their music in a professional studio.
Eligibility
Applicants must be over 18
Applicants should have some level of music experience and ability to play an instrument at a good level of proficiency.
You should have an interest in songwriting and be available to take part in all 5 sessions, the festival showcase and studio recording.
