The South Dublin County Council Culture and Creativity Strategy 2023-2027 endeavours to strengthen community, economy, space, and place, by placing culture and Creativity at the heart of South Dublin County development and regeneration work. South Dublin County has a population of approximately 300,000 and is one of the most diverse and culturally rich areas in Ireland with people of over ninety-three nationalities living here and 58 named languages spoken in the area. Because South Dublin County is characterised by multifaceted diverse identities rather than by a single identity, sustaining strong networks, partnerships, and collaboration within communities and with their leaders is of the upmost importance.
